Annual Digital Accessibility Monitor 2024

About the project
How has digital accessibility developed in government in 2024?
After we provided insight in 2023 into how many websites and apps government organizations are responsible for, 2024 was all about improving statuses and eliminating redundant websites and apps. We motivated and encouraged governments to get started with this by sharing even more knowledge via webinars, LinkedIn and roadshows compared to 2023. What has that yielded? And how do municipalities compare to provinces, water boards and the central government? View all annual figures in this magazine. Get informed by experienced experts about the challenges they face when a website or app is inaccessible. In addition, get inspired by the stories of colleagues who have made great strides in 2024, and read why Vincent Bijlo notices that many organizations also want to take those steps but sometimes find it quite difficult. We present a number of proven benefits of digital accessibility. This will give you sufficient arguments to convince your management or board in 2025 of the need to sustainably safeguard digital accessibility in your organization.
