About the project
Welcome to the first online annual report of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (AMA). We hope to show what the AMA is working on in an accessible way.
The AMA has a strong impact on the Netherlands. More than 20% of Dutch economic activity takes place in the AMA. Residents, entrepreneurs and knowledge institutions value the strength, diversity and human scale of our region. We want to keep it that way, but that requires a joint effort from all governments in the region and good cooperation with our other partners.
